His name is Yahweh

(Exo 9:16)
And for this reason I have raised you up, in order to show you My power, and in order to declare My Name in all the earth.
The Scriptures

I have always wondered why Christians refer to God as "God", or "Lord God". I know he has a name. But how can we declare His name if we do not know it or use it. Jesus (Yehshua) taught us to use the Term "Father" when we pray, but that still does tell us His name.

(Exo 20:7 The Scriptures)
“You do not bring the Name of YHWY your Elohim to naught, for YHWH does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught.

(Naught) OT:7723 shav' (shawv); or shav (shav); from the same as OT:7722 in the sense of desolating; evil (as destructive), literally (ruin) or morally (especially guile); figuratively idolatry (as false, subjective), uselessness (as deceptive, objective; also adverbially, in vain):

YHWH is the four letter tetra gram that has been known among Hebrews since the days of Moses. The Hebrew alphabet only contains consonants. And in the days before vowel symbols were included they just knew how to speak words the way they were meant to be spoken. The "W" (old Hebrew) is now a "V" in modern Hebrew. And the "Y" was replaced with the "J" in the 1600's when the J came into existence. That is how some have come up with JeHoVaH, or even still see YeHoVaH. And then there are those who see it as YaHWeH, keeping the "W" from the old system.

The Bible that we read in the Western world is translated without the name of God in it. His name was taken out because the Jews in the early days were afraid that the name of Yahweh would be blasphemed. So they forbid people to speak it except for the High priests. But in so doing it erased Yahweh's Holy name from the Holy Scriptures. That is why our Bibles today do not have his name in it.
