Predestination
Rom 8:29-30
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the
firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified;
and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Eph 1:3-6
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the
heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without
blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure
of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace

Many people believe that the predestination described in the above verses mean that we were known from the beginning as in Jeremiah. But the scriptures above mean that God describes in his laws how we are to act as his children.
