Boasting
James 4:15-17
Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that." 16 But now you boast in
your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it,
to him it is sin.

Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your
left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your
Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
